Following two 'Unity in Diversity' Forums: Melbourne (10-12 October 2010) and Kerala, India (6-8 February 2011), a suitable social media platform was requested to help bridge communication among the participants and to develop further networking.

To join the group click on the "Unity in Diversity" link above. This group is by invitation or by application only. You are welcome to invite your associates, partners, friends and anyone who may like to participate and contribute to the discussion.

Every member has their own "My Page". Please take a few moments to add information about yourself to help other members get to know you.

Some suggested discussion topics for the 'Unity in Diversity' group are:

- Promoting cultural diversity in society;
- Encouraging mutual understanding among people of religions, faiths and traditional faiths;
- Fostering integration of new settlers in urban and rural areas;
- Advancing cultural understanding through education;
- Furthering dialogue and cooperation among cultures;
- Challenging stereotypes - the role of the media today
- Using technology to facilitate intercultural understanding.
